"impossible is nothing" indeed
I'm not one to pander to telemarketeers. But I gave in this one time for whatever reason I don't recall. So a courier was sent down to the office, for certain documents needed my signature. We sat down at the table. He handed me the envelope. I read and signed. Then I noticed a pair of crutches against the wall. I queried if the courier man was injured. And his reply threw me off my seat for a second.
He's permanently disabled. The fact didn't quite sink in until I saw him stand up. He is an amputee (for lack of a politically correct word). So there. A courier man. An amputee. Wow.

that reminded me of an anecdote my late grandma once recounted to me when i was a wee-little-kiddo... one of her many litanies of life's parables originating from the middle east. goes something like this:
a young, strong and abled man, after offering prayers at the mosque, went into a long tirade begrudging the thief that stole his sandals. "what calamity is this? oh God, i offered my prayers to You and this is what i get in return? how am i going to walk home barefooted under the blazing desert sun?" suddenly he stopped his tirade, when he saw an old man, literally dragging his body on the sandy gravel stoned pathway, under the hot sun to the mosque, to offer prayers. he was born without limbs from his waist downwards.
When i have encounters of likewise now and then, i would ponder upon my own life and likes of the amputee courier man as mentioned in "impossible is nothing" indeed.
There are many times in our lives that we almost wanna give up when we encounter certain setbacks, be it minor or major, falling in self pitiness and blaming on the unfairness of our lives. Infact there are many out there who are much less fortunate than us. There are those who are born handicapped, some whose disabilities are caused by accidents... and yet many among them have the will power and determination to be a part of the contributing society. Famous artists who paints who toes, there are athletics and sportsmens who despite their inabilities strives to make an impact on others with their determinations.
Personally i would remind myself "Hey, my shitty life is not so shitty after all...... stop bitching and complaining and move on!"
